SHAKE -MY- LOVE! :)

Take the Radiohead Collective Member Test.

My room is becoming over run with ants. I don't know why this seems to happen every quarter or so. They usually disappear as suddenly and mysteriously as they arrived. If they don't start disappeaing soon though I will be forced to "help them along"...

So I am still slaving away, at this point I think I am trying to remember what slumber actually feels like. Meaning real natural uninterrupted sleep not the 60-90 minutes crashes that I succumb to every 6 hours or so.

(Billboard Magazine) The indefatigable Deborah Gibson is one of those rare, highly driven artists--and businesswomen--who refuses to shut down shop just because top 40 trends changed and radio moved in a different direction. With her string of nine top 40 hits from 1987-90, her fan base remains active and rabidly dedicated, thanks to a continuous stream of high-quality material over the years on her own label, Espiritu.

A few hours ago I spent way too much money catching up on my Deborah Gibson music collection. Some of you all may remember her as the 80's eternally perky Debbie with the hats and smiley face kneecaps. Well, she's still around and never stopped making music. Good music to (well I think so at least and since those who mock me -yeah you go ahead- haven't even heard her post-famous stuff I say screw you :P).

"I've learned to have a sense of humor about myself. Lord knows everyone else does!" -Deborah Gibson

Every now and again I check her official site to see what she has available (since she has been releasing her stuff on her own label for several years now). I couldn't believe how far behind I had fallen! While I was at it I also went on ebay and snagged a new copy of Anything is Possible as my copy has been hopelessly scratched for a while. At $5.74 (total) how could I refuse :) Woohoo! I'm gonna have to replace my copy of Electric Youth soon as well... hell maybe I'll do that now. I'm pathetically loyal, once I love anything/anyone I remain faithful for life. I think I still have some Electric Youth perfume laying around. I used to wear it religiously! :) Seriously though, as a young pianist/singer/songwriter she was totally inspirational to me in my youth :) Plus the joy/optimism of her music was the polar opposite to my life, it was the perfect escape. Still is.

that was then

...this is now

psst.. lynn! guess what!? the Void is still around! ... spooky...

OK, that's all I have to say for now I'm beginning to feel nauseous and I feel as though a cold is coming on... 26 years and I still have shit for an immune system :(
